As of 1.5.x Update Game runs stable/no lag >20FPS on Steamdeck = finally playable. Runs even faster on PC, a kind of breakthrough; FINALLY!!
Steamdeck: Great performance and controls; PC: No lagging whatsoever, FPS stable, control responsive. This second update in '24 really delivers Performance and features. !!!!!!!!!!!

The Water graphics/simulation is entirely broken making a large chunk of the map unusable by being covered in blobs of water.
The Water Simulation is completly broken and globs of "water" overtakes the map making the game almost unplayable. Additionally the grid in the vehicle editor continously flickers though this atleast does not harm the playability.
The game is still technically playable if you can somehow ignore the Water blob issues

Game freezes when switching to windowed or resizing (with WM controls) after restarting the game with windowed
Game does list 10 series as min spec, so it might be that the game is poorly optimized rather than an issue with proton (GTX1070 @3440x1440 low runs about 10-20 FPS)
The game freezes when loading on Proton 9 (both valve and GE). Proton 7 just barely works sometimes
The tutorial scenario loaded fine when I first played so I checked that you can load and start playing the game. However, loading an existing craft freezes on load, even on proton 7.
Having the game open appears to also freeze any XWayland windows (which annoyingly includes steam), requiring they be closed and reopened to be properly interactable again. Does not happen with other games so I'm sure this is not an issue with my WM (hyprland).

Runs, out of the box with 30fps (on an Nvidia960M) with everything dialed down. Runs at 60fps and above on an RTX2060.
It is still updated (being just out of EarlyAccess) regularly, with new features

Seems to be working normally, aside from the bad performance
At low settings, the game struggles to reach 60 in even the least demanding areas.

Initially couldn't hold 144FPS but hovered around 90 with 100% GPU Utilization. After changing to GE-Proton9-4 i first had the same behaviour, but soon came down to around 60% Utilization with stable 144FPS. So maybe just compiling shaders?

Audio stuttering and popping caused by poor performance.
Incredibly poor framerate (sub-10) even on lowest settings, unplayable even at lower resolutions.
Can load into tutorial but will crash when trying to exit to menu.
This has only been available for two days now to the public, so I didn't expect it to be perfect.

It ran unplayably slow even at minimum graphics settings. I had to cut the resolution down to 1280x720 to barely get it to 30fps
I could not get the game to run at more than 10 FPS without GE proton 9-3, using this allowed me to get the framerate a consistant ~30 FPS

It's still open beta but fun to play around
Cannot tell if the reason is the open beta
