Related exclusively to Quests : sometimes Quests get 'stuck' (for example, the quest is to build farm, you duild a farm, but the quest won't trigger) -> ever since, the game has high chance of drop-to-OS, and if yo usave and quit, the game wil auto-drop-to-OS as soon the save finishes loadin. (also, when you open any such save, the game starts with the quest pop-up, with options YES / NO (accept / reject) and no matter what you click, game crashes.
the bug is most possily game-related, nothing to do with linux port.
There is a known gamebreaking bug that corrupts your save on Linux and Mac, if you exit the game and reopen you're met with constant crashes.
The native Linux version is a poorly made port. It's recommended to run the Windows version on Proton for a better experience, which also supports mods, including the major Renaissance Mod. Run with the command "PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%" for achieving the same performance as the Windows version.

The Linux native version is unfinished, slow, and bugged, while with Proton + D9VK it runs like a charm.

Warlock II comes with native Linux support out-of-the-box. Game runs without a problem, except the graphical details are way more basic then on Windows.
It seems the generic AMD gpu driver shrinks down the options for graphical details, so it is more a driver issue then a game related one. My LinuxMint 19.1 does actually not support installation of amdgpu-pro.
