fullscreen and resolution need to be set manually

I changed the controller layout via steam and the resoluion in-game, but that's it
When it first started up I couldn't use the controller, and I couldn't map any controller buttons. After one restart I could map in-game to have the right controls.

Using the Windows executable from itch.io via Steam
By default, controller input was not mapped in-game. Easily resolved.
Controls in game were recognised but none were mapped to game controls, I had to map each key and stick within the game.
Didn't boot with Proton experimental (my default option) however switching to most recent stable allowed it to work fine and play normally.

Native didn't work for me at all. Proton was immaculate.
The game plays like utter crap using Proton, the Linux version requires tinkering.
Every second the game movement freeze but sounds work. Release the movement key and the game continues. Don't know if this is an issue in the "Linux" version (if you can call it that).
Constant movement freezes which only go away when letting go of the movement keys.

Native version ships with broken libraries(can still be fixed) however Proton seems to work flawlessly out of the box.
