works out of the box, with no technical difficulties (13h played)
Works great out of the box, at 240fps basically all the time on 4k. Great game too, great story and great graphics. Runs on Linux perfectly
Works fine out of the box

「低品質」設定可以順利的運行。「中品質」在多數場景會lag。
The "low quality" setting works fine. "Medium quality" will lag in most scenes.
Works great
No problems at all.
A bit of stuttering, but I believe due to game optimization.

Works perfectly on linux desktop.
experimental proton
The game runs stably, at maximum graphics settings.
Very fun action adventure game. Feels like a AA game in early 2010s. Handheld performance could be better, but playable enough.
40Hz cap to display refresh rate. Set graphics preset to balanced. The game on install defaults to Ultra. FSR 2 is available. I set it to Balanced. Nets me 2.5 to 3 hour battery life.
The in-game journal, game object captions, and NPC dialogue have tiny font styles. The subtitles can be scaled up but is presented as white text on often bright environments.
During launch the game would stutter. But thanks to the shader cache that the Deck compiles for us all and provided freely. The stutters went away. Some late game areas still struggle. But as of posting this review, it is still early days.
Launch version needs quality of life patches for things like controller customization, and better input response. Overall, I think it is fun to play on the Steam Deck.

An Excellent Experience
Literally works perfectly on both my PC and Steam Deck. I adjusted settings down a little bit to get a better framerate (and I prefer to have FSR turned off), but nothing outside of the main menu.
The game launched straight out of the box on day 1, without any tinkering required, with no notable issues as far as I could tell.

some minor popping, but may be due to shader compilation
game auto-sets to ultra graphics, but can't run that at/above 30fps. setting to balanced settings and changing steam deck screen to 40hz results in a smooth experience and doesn't look terrible (with FSR off). Can reach 60fps at low settings (with FSR off, so there's a bit of wiggle room) but it doesn't look as good, specifically shadows. in-game vsync seems broken, so just turn that off and limit fps with steam deck, otherwise frame pacing is kind of all over the place. I think a typical linux gamer would enjoy this without tinkering, assuming his hardware is good enough, but maybe that question shouldn't be specific to just linux when I'm reporting as a steam deck user. changing settings is a must on steam deck.

I get FPS buzz over HDMI audio, even when another audio out selected. Not sure if this is a game bug or a config bug on my end, but this is the only game that does this on my pc.
Game launches and runs perfectly with stock proton and latest GE both. FSR 2.0 works great, though it's not needed with this hardware, was excited to verify its functionality. I am getting fps buzz through hdmi audio no matter which audio out is selcted, only happens on this title, not sure if a bug or config issue.

Xbox 360 Wired controller not detected with Steam Input enabled (default). Have to disable Steam Input and reconnect controller after starting the game.
- Stuck on black screen with Proton 7.0-4 and Proton Experimental. Works with GE-Proton7-36.
- Performance is acceptable but on the low side considering the simplistic map in the demo (not a lot of objects, trees etc). Smooth 60FPS on low-ish settings (Performance preset, with Textures set to Quality and FSR Quality set to Balanced). Game has built-in AMD FSR 2.0 which works well.
- Intro logos can be skipped by renaming the 2 files in

I always start with Experimental and lower version if necessary.
