I played through the whole thing, 30 hours no obvious problems.

The game would slow down with attacks targetting more then 3 targets. Would only last a second.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Occasional flickering of the screen
Game would crash at main menu without tinkering

If you don't mind the performance hit (not noticeable, only slightly higher CPU usage) on Linux, then you will be fine.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
On Windows the game does not make my fans blare. On Linux it does.
The game starts without launch options, but it freezes at some point and stops working.

Crashes on screens before menu
Tried multiple Proton versions, all have the same effect. Seemed to have better luck with the non-Flatpak Steam, but still encountered crashing there too.

Game installs correctly, but freezes immediately as soon as it is started. Install native d3dcompiler_47.dll using protontricks or winetricks. That fixes the borked start.

No tinkering needed. Works straight out of the box. Works with Wayland.

Works like Native
No tinkering needed, worked out of the box.
Works perfectly!

Borked on Wayland
on Wayland, you can be able to see the warning message but after that the game crashes.
switching to X11 fixes this and you can play the game
Game will open to initial CW screen but crashes on input shortly after

Game stutters whenever multi-target attacks hit 3+ enemies/party members which can make it hard to tell how much damage you're dealing/taking

Runs perfectly with some frame drops here and there while battling, they last a second or less.
Frames sometimes goes down but it's quick

Every couple hours the game might have a breif stutter, but otherwise it ran perfectly

Runs perfectly out of the box, no tinkering required. Might take a while when first starting. (around 2 minutes)
It showed up in window form. I had to go to settings to make it full screen and even then, it took up a pretty small portion of the screen.
Runs well besides a small screen
