Without switching to proton. The game doesn't install the executable. After that it runs stable and smooth

very unstable and low FPS depending on the Proton version I was using. Experimental works great.
After an update, the proton version I was using had very bad performance, Proton experimental and some launch options did the trick for me.

Mouse sensitivity was set to zero at startup, thus mouse could not be used in game
Cannot install from Steam, GoG saved the day
Works without any issue, but there was a catch
For some reason when on default Proton version it shows "Missing Executable" error window. When switched to experimental and GE worked fine.
Set Right trackpad to mouse. Mixed gamepad/mouse input works fine!
40Hz improves battery life, but is not needed ~12W -> 10W
The "press any key" upon starting the game forced me to invoke the manual keyboard!
The game looks and plays amazing on Deck, and works great out of the box. Aside from the "press any key" feature when launching the game that requires the on screen keyboard, clearly a deck verified game.
