Runs out of the Box
Didn't change anything at all and haven't encountered any issues.
gamemoderun %command% --force-vulkan
Without the mentioned commands the game has severe stuttering but with them they disappears entirely.
Works well with recent updates
Previous versions had a lot of issues with controls not working, but that seems to have been resolved over the past few updates

Works well without tweaking
possibly game bug, but after opening inventory it will always point to first box of inventory until you hover you mouse over your inventory and then you can what you were planing to do.
Keyboard and mouse inputs aren't recognized
You can navigate through the main menu and create a new game, but you can't progress any further. The mouse sensitivity is unbelievably low and the keyboard is completely unresponsive. It's not like the game is lagging either, it's just not accepting any input.

Proton-6.10-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Steam controller and mouse would drop sometimes but come back. all though controls seem laggy but again, it might be just the way the native game is right now.
I got some improvements after upgrading to glorious egg roll 6.10 however The FPS is pretty jank. and it's real bad in the shop area, which nicknamed "lag city". I heard complaints of this from windows users on steam too, so this might not be a proton issue. The game is still very early in early access at the time of this writing. I was able to play enough to get a farm down and get a few machines running. The first area is slow but playable. Although I was able to wade through it, the shop area I'd probably label unplayable for now.

Game is unplayable unfortunately. To slow. It cab't be controlled.
Audio starts before I can start with play. I still see black screen, and hear audio from environment.
Mouse have slow response, no meter which speed I set in Settings
Game doesn't force hardvare, but work slow. It looks like somehow keyboard and mouse are not synchronized with what is going on on screen.
Game is interesting, it will be nice to have it on Linux.

Occasional failure to detect input from either mouse or keyboard, but picks back up again if you use the other method once (i.e. if space key gives no result, click mouse, or vice versa). This may be a game bug, it is very eqarly access.
Some choppiness and lower than expected FPS

Still early access but reminds me of My Time at Portia.
First load with new game no input was recognized. Quit out, reload, worked fine. Raft does the same thing every once in a while.
