Mapped controls listed on options menu to bumpers and triggers
FMVs were replaced with a test pattern by default; would play at double-speed when using latest Proton GE, desyncing from captions and/or music.
See notes on FMVs from Graphics section
Requires mild counterintuitive tinkering to get working on par with consoles/Windows, especially downgrading Proton GE an unknown number of versions.
FMVs sometimes played incorrectly
Played the game to completion and there were pretty much no issues. If you have issues with FMVs switch to ProtonGE and that should fix it. Additionally, to 100% the game, you need to switch to desktop mode and edit a save file (this is the case on Windows too) but it's not immediately clear where you need to navigate to on Linux. So, for future reference, navigate here in the file browser: "/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1281270/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Bryce Bucher/Fatum Betula/"
Made it controller friendly
Has a 4:3 aspect ratio
Cutscenes worked without changing Proton.
As previous reports mention, there is an issue with the cutscenes when the default Proton shipped with Steam is used. However, I can confirm that the issue is resolved with Proton-GE.
7.0rc2-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Works perfectly fine with Proton 7.0rc2-GE-1, no other tweaks needed. Default proton may have issues with cutscenes. Cutscenes actually play, if you use default you may see a TV Colour Test screen which indicates that cutscenes cant play, but you can still play the game.
The game runs well out of the box, cutscenes just don't work.
Cutscenes do not play for some reason, instead, one of those tv checker like things show.
Very playable.
Videos during end cutscenes do not play.
With current Proton 5.0-9, this game is 100% playable, except the videos during the various ending cutscenes do not play, but this does not affect the gameplay.
