XInput controllers weren't detected with Proton Experimental. Everything is working fine with Proton 6.3-8, however.
Platinum. A fun family friendly local multiplayer racing game
Ignore my previous post. This game currently doesn't have online multiplayer, but the local multiplayer works fine. The split screen is implemented well. This is a good Mario Kart-like racing game for the family or party of friends.
Works flawlessly in Single and Multiplayer mode.
Although I didn't extensively test the multiplayer, my initial playthrough had no problems connecting to the server and played with other players. Local multiplayer also works, and the split screen was implemented very well. If you're looking for a family friendly, party racing game similar to Mario Kart, this is probably it.
A recent patch to the game broke it for Proton versions below 5.13-2. From that version onwards it works perfectly. At time of writing that's the latest official Proton release built in to Steam so all is good.
