The game requires tweaking, that I personally wasn't able to make work. Crashes as it launches in the start menu.
I've tried installing and running Proton GE as well the experimental and that didn't allow the game to run for me passed the menu, where it suddenly crashes.
The game shows as playable, but in reality this game runs very well out of the box. I've had little problem with text being small.
I believe it may require mapping your controls a little bit different. I find rolling and attacking a bit weirdly mapped, but I believe that can be changed in the settings. I've not tested out.
The game runs alright out of the box but it's recommended to switch to Proton GE
The game ran well on Steam and as well using the Proton GE. It may be difficult to read some text for some, but overall it was a smooth experience.
Hades runs smoothly without a problem. It's perfect for Steam Deck.
This game has no problem running at all. It's a smooth and well thought out experience on Steam Deck. Highly recommend it.

Although I've only tryied it out, the game runs perfectly smooth, at a high frame rate using GE-Proton7-29 and using the DirectX 11 at launch.
The game runs perfectly fine with Xbox controls on the Steam Deck. It shouldn't be a problem playing this game.
The native resolution of the Steam Deck could not be changed in games, so the only available setting in the game was 1280x720.
I've tested Proton GE and the game ran just fine even with that on. Highly recommend trying it out if it doesn't run for you.
