if vsync is enabled and you have more than one screen - disable, or else you will get super low FPS. playing around with windowed modes and forcing game window into fullscreen mode using your WM is advised
probably because i am using chinese bluetooth gamepad
you might run into some issues when playing main missions in multiplayer. that is known bug, not related to running game on linux.
get a beefy pc. anything below minimal will lag.
although it can run just fine on i3, it's better to use gnome/kde/etc for bit better experience. i have tested it on i3 and gnome only.
if you're looking for libraries fix, scroll down to johnothanking's report, i tried it and it works for sure
some rather minor but annoying issues:
- consistent crash if you wait for too long on prompts outside of game window
- some puzzles don't work on i3, but do work on gnome. so if you can't progress on some "pretty obvious, you can't miss that" puzzles - try switching DE, maybe you'll get different result there.
- ending puzzle has transparency issues on i3 without compositor, troubles with window focus on Gnome (transparent window gets in the way)
- ending cutscene is kinda broken on both gnome and i3 :(
this game was designed to be ran natively on all systems, don't expect it to run using proton
