Played for over a year, it has always "just worked". I originally used it with vanilla proton, but now use GE. Seems about the same on both.

It worked out of the box for me. Gameplay runs at ~80fps dipping slightly but never below 70. Loading scenes are 2-5fps.

Proton 8.0.4 Just works, no tweaking needed. Have not tried multiplayer; only single player so far.
