It worked out of the box on other device with the same OS (Arch + KDE Wayland) however on this one I had to use ProtonGE, after which it worked flawless
Runs flawless
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=’wbemprox=n’ %command%
Copied and edited options.lua
as mentioned here https://github.com/deleterium/dcs_on_linux, Installed vcrun2019, corefonts, xact, d3dcompiler_43

Minor annoyance when switching windows, nothing that can't be ignored
Game completely froze and artifacts showed up and could not do nothing, happened only once though
The Campaign Builder does not work
Also installing vcrun2019 fails, qouting "Another version already installed", installed on another computer, worked fine on there, can probably ignore.
+com_skipIntroVideo 1
Alt-tabbing makes the screen go black, switching to borderless fixed the issue
Native does not run, could be an issue with Kwin and Xwayland, I switched to ProtonGE9-15 and everything works fine
--skip-launcher
Just perfect OOTB
The default display mode is X11, switch to Wayland if you are on a DE that supports it.
Does not run.
I tried all Proton versions (GE, Experimental, latest, 6,3-8), looked at what worked for others and tried that but it does not work.
Using gamescope was also not a fix unfortunately as a lot of people suggested.
The game boots into the menu consistently, lets me log in to the abhorrent Microsoft Account (it should be illegal to require log in if I paid for the cluckin' game or put it in the name Forza Horizon 4 (Microsoft Login Required)) but fails when I press "Continue" to play.
The spinny thingy in the bottom right spins for a bit, everything freezes for a few seconds and then unfreezes and then it closes itself.
Welp tbh did not put any effort to fix this obviously and am not going to and instead get a refund.
Flawless
Runs completely fine with no tinkering.
Only annoyance is the Xbox login but no problems after that is done
Using nvidia-open-dkms drivers for my RTX 4060 8GB
For some reason some of my old saves do not load anymore, I do not know why this happened.
I use Peacock server for online features
My third party xbox 360 controller was not being picked up by the game for some reason.
While it did work with other games and also showed up on gamepad tester.
Not sure about the likely issue but I have a keyboard thats running QMK, which seems to be part of the problem (I did not put any effort into finding the issue for this so could be something else).
The solution that worked for me:
i) Get to the title screen where it prompts you to 'Press any key'
ii) Unplug both keyboard and gamepad
iii) Plug gamepad back in and press any key and the game will register the gamepad
iv) Plug the keyboard back in and everything works like normal now.
The issue is specific to Sekiro only, other games work fine for me.
Works great except for the controller issue for me.
