I only got it to run once, and the next time, it was broken.

The best I can get from this game most of the time is a black screen that is not responding.
Proton Experimental crashes immediately. I have been able to make DayZ boot once with Proton 6.21-GE, but on the next attempt it failed.
This is while using sudo sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=1048576
