Game runs great on the Steam Deck. Keep in mind that if you have a browser and the game open at the same time the game will not recognize the controller inputs. It will think your playing with a keyboard. I tested this with Firefox and Chrome.
Gamepad controls were detected with no issues. However, when pulling up the on screen keyboard to type your first and last name of your driver in career mode, the game crashes to desktop. I'd recommend either connecting a keyboard to your Steam Deck or starting career mode on another PC first.
Framerate dips down to around 45fps when full car fields are on screen. I've found setting the refresh rate to 45hz helped keep the games fps fairly steady throughout all races. Though you could keep the game running at 60fps with almost no issues if the dips in fps during those specific races doesn't bother you.
All videos playback for cutscenes and the intro movie do not display correctly. Videos display as orange and purpleish colors. You cannot see video clearly at all. This is not very integral to the game, so almost a non issue.
Bar a couple minor issues, SRX The Game runs great on the Steam Deck and I definitely recommend it.
