The game only worked using proton 3.7-8 Newer versions crashed (newest version at the time of this writing: proton 4.11-11)
The game was playable and i had fun with it for some hours. I found a workaround for 4.11 to work that i will describe in my next report.
Enemy Models do not load NPC's in main menu are missing Animations
Very occasional micro lags
I allready subbmitted a report for 3.7, ignore that one it did not work without issues. For that report i only played the tutorial and there the issues weren't apparent.
The game will crash with proton 4.11-11 because of an error in vrclient_x64.dll.so. The workaround is to overwrite the 4.11-11 vrclient_x64.dll.so with the one from 3.7-8.

The ocasional microlag is still there
Game did load, but the the valve index controller were not recognized.
The game runs fine, however the complete steamvr experience is not very porformance optimized yet in linux, an vega 56 has occasional stutters on 100% resolution on the valve index even on 80hz
Start parameter "--disable-gpu", otherwise the launcher stays all white
Set launch option: "+gfxapi OGL"
Had to start game with OpenGL renderer (add "+gfxapi OGL" to launch options), then it worked perfectly fine. Also no performanche issues despide not using vulkan.
