Unless you are okay with playing at 30 fps, this is generally unplayable.
Game ran at around 38 fps, seemingly capped at 44 for some reason. I remember getting around 100 fps back on Windows. I tried messing with settings a ton (resolution, texture res., EVERYTHING), nothing I changed had an effect :( Even at the bare minimum settings (all low, 720p) it still ran the exact same.
Tried multiple Proton versions, GE included, to no success.
Multiplayer worked flawlessly
The only issue I was experiencing was audio glitches running with normal proton, don't remember what version... but switching to GE fixed that. From there on, the experience was indistinguishable from Windows.
Game worked great out of the box.
Borderless windowed was not properly fullscreen, regurlar fullscreen worked fine
