game boots fine, crashes after first cutscene
Ran into one graphics bug but it was fixable without winetricks. Game ran fine otherwise
Game would only draw the most recently hovered-over button in the main and options menu. Checking the box at Window>Use Compatibility Mode in the settings menu fixed it.
Works fine out of the box
Played up through the first demon king so far and haven't run into any issues.
Works fine out of the box with 5.0-10. Didn't notice any significant issues with running it.
mostly runs great. video output dying at random makes it hard to recommend but will probably be fixed by the time anyone else looks at this
remapped the face buttons to z/x and the shoulders to q/w
one of the taverns tries to play www/audio/bgm/李斯特 - 爱之梦~1.ogg, which has gotten malformed in the directory and has been renamed 锞€閼堬焦锞岋緲 - 锝帮疆锞栵疆锞冿編~1.rpgmvo. Duplicating this and renaming the duplicated file to 李斯特 - 爱之梦~1.rpgmvo seems to fix that audio not loading properly.
in one place I had to go to www/img/pictures and duplicate cgn1Friedrich .rpgmvp (there are two spaces in the filename. the text parser on here has removed the second one) and rename the duplicated file to remove one space so that one one portrait would load right
sometimes the framerate just drops to zero for reasons I cannot understand. Input and audio will continue to play, and the game can be saved if you can navigate to the menu.
Honestly it's not the most teeth i've had to pull to get an RPG Maker game working, and the things that are broken aren't progression-breaking. It seems like something about the current version of Proton just isn't playing all that well with RPG Maker MV games, since the video output dying is a problem I've run into in another RPG Maker MV game. It's playable as it is.
the community layout that the game forced when I booted it up a minute ago was borked, and the controls needed to be mapped before playing. worked fine after that though.
selecting a different resolution after launching the game made the game force a lower-resolution version in the window. it works fine out of the box though so just don't touch it.
The cloud save from my desktop didn't transfer over and I had to manually copy it in with a flash drive.
