Hosting my own dedicated server using wine on a Linux terminal server. Runs excellent 24/7 for weeks now, without crashing even once on the server, likewise on client's side.
As stated before, type 'protontricks 105450 mfc42 winxp l3codecx' into a terminal and you're good to go. Even online multiplayer runs flawless.
No chance to get this one running. It installs just fine but won't run. Steam tells you it runs but after a few seconds stops. RIP

Works without any issues. Runs smooth on max settings. The first start of the game will need some patience, though. Let it load for 10 to 15 minutes. Every following game start will just take a few seconds then.
Whatever I do, nothing helps: I've got two screens and the mouse cursor is on the left (primary) screen while the game launches on the right (secondary) screen. Using D9vk did not help (does this even do anything?). It's unbearable to have the cursor and the game on different screens.

Plays not as smooth as on Windows. But it's absolutely acceptable.
Game freezes if Multiplayer -> Online is selected. But this may be because the original online servers are down.
Someone needs to get online play working using cnc-online.net
I don't know if it's only me but I had to do exactly nothing and it runs smooth in dx11. Only downside: the window size. it cannot be adjusted to 1920x1080 via in game config. I'll fiddle around with it and see if there's anything I can do.
Runs very smooth from the beginning, except cutscenes. DLSS works very good with latest DLSS version and mentioned command line.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr %command%
Exchanged game's /common/Hogwarts Legacy/Engine/Plugins/Runtime/Nvidia/DLSS/Binaries/ThirdParty/Win64/nvngx_dlss.dll with latest available.
Raytracing is very buggy. Don't use it.
PS4 controller is detected ingame, but game shows XBox-Controller mapping. Maybe a general issue. Not sure, though.
Now and then FPS drop below 20 FPS. Mostly happens in cutscenes. Recovers afterwards.
The way I've configured the game, it crashes after ~ 1 hour. There seems to be a memory leak, flooding VRAM over time. When VRAM is full, game closes without any notice.
When not in a hurry, I would wait for performance patches, as all the issues with Linux seem to occur on Windows systems, too. All in all, very astonishing that the game runs in Linux as good as in Windows from the very first day. Without tinkering, the game will run, but not as good, as DLSS will not be available.
Runs perfectly smooth (60fps+, FHD), but frames drop to 4 fps after 2 hours of multiplayer game play. Only a game restart helps.

As mentioned before, just add
PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%"
to launch options and start cleaning :-)
