to get the sound working i needed to switch to proton 4.11-13 and then run:

protontricks 287450 directmusic

After installing i switched back to proton 6.3.7 and everything works including sound.

If you install via Bottles with windows install of Steam it is decent expirience on Steam Deck

Game needs to be force closed. Normal close freezes the game.
