The command I listed should work in other EA Origin games; just replace the store ID with the game you want to fix.
I had to use chmod -R 555 ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1222690/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application\ Data/Origin in the terminal to get rid of the stuttering. This should work in other EA Origin games; just replace the store ID with the game you want to fix.
Whenever the game autosaves it stops and/or stutters for a second or so. Never had it crash.
Origin installed and it complained that it could not install the game in the folder.
Quite a bit of stuttering.
It takes a while for Origin to start up and it complains that it's unable to install games in a folder, but it'll launch.

After my first report I encountered a lot of stuttering (there was a little bit but not an unplayable amount). Use the command I listed in the terminal and it should work in other EA Origin games; just replace the store ID with the game you want to fix.
Cinematic movies are whited out, but the in-game cutscenes are fine.

For a while now, GloriousEggroll's Proton fixes the audio and I have no problems with it.
Occasionally you have to restart the game because the patch will stop downloading. A restart or two will eventually download it all.
Constant stuttering, slowing down in gameplay and player death animation, and speeding up. Also, I can't pick up anything that the monsters drops: health potions, mana potions, equipment, etc. This game is unplayable.
