FPS dips that make playing the game very difficult and irritating.
Consistent and frequent FPS dips.
I suspected that the FPS dips could be caused by some Nvidia driver issue, so I tried disabling Nvidia-specific features such as DLSS and DLAA (I tried switching between them as well to no avail). The FPS dips are not caused by the graphics settings being set too high, as I tested it ranging from Medium to Extreme.
It gets to the EAC loading screen but quits immediately after
I have tried all official Proton versions, but 4.11-13, 4.2-9, 3.16-9, and 3.7-8 are the only ones that even get to the EAC loading screen, the other ones don't even launch the game. I have also tried using the beta version of SteamVR and Steam without any success. Furthermore, I have also tried switching from the LTS kernel to the latest kernel, but that didn't change anything.
I tried the "gamemoderun %command%" launch option, but just like with every other game i try it with, it makes the game not launch.
Since the anti-cheat doesn't allow Linux, you will need to play on servers that have disabled it, which is a very small amount of servers.
I noticed a large hit to my FPS when using any form of DLSS, around 20 to 30fps lower than normal.
The DLSS issue may have something to do with my graphics driver, but I am a bit of a noob when it comes to that kind of stuff. (Using an RTX 3070 with Nvidia's drivers)
