i went into the compactdata folder went to 711380 and deleted the config file and launched the game , you have to do this everytime but the game works when you do that and renders correctly
you need to delete the Config_info file everytime before you launch the game

the game will not launch unless you attempt to launch it many times in linux mint to make it work
it launches fine in nobara but in linux mint its having an issue i cant really pinpoint
you gotta launch this game many times on linux mint before it even works properly , this needs to get a fix of some sort
Runs great on Glorious eggroll proton
i legit booted up the game using Ge-proton 9-10 on mint and the game launched without an issue

Resolution=1280x720 RefreshRate=60 it has to be this also once you save it , turn off steam cloud because the cloud will mess the file up causeing a black screen window to appear
you need to make sure the steam cloud is off and to make sure the config file reflects Resolution=1280x720 RefreshRate=60
steam cloud has to be off after changing the config file back to what it needs to be at or the game wont launch
Black screens because it doesnt know what the refresh rate is and it will say UNKNOWN , change that to 60 and also change the resolution to 1280x720 and make sure steam cloud saving is off for the game or it will black screen hang on the window

you need to at least turn off steam cloud saving or the game will mess up the second time you launch it
not only do you need to make sure the config file is correct you also need to launch option -w 1280 to force it in 1280x720
-w 1280
-w 1280 is a must along with edting the config file and also disabling steam cloud
-w 1280
you need to turn off steam cloud and use the launch option -w 1280 , also make sure the game resolution is 720p in the config file if it launches with a blacked out window , also make sure its set to 60 HZ/ frames in hte config file , the game should launch every time if the launch option is set to -w 1280 after those changes are made , you can set it to full screen but keep the resolution at 720p
