If you are using Wayland, it's best to run the game through gamescope. Otherwise stick to X11 where this issue isn't present.
Sometimes the game would crash if I was selecting all text in search boxes.
Works quite well with GE8-3. Install issues are non-existant. Apart from the Wayland mouse float issue it's perfect so far.
Regarding the Wayland mouse float: When it happened, I was running hyprland and would be unable to close dialog boxes due to what seems like the mouse "floating" away and constantly getting reset to where wayland thinks it is. Running MSFS through gamescope fixed the issue but I was having issues launching with it, sometimes it would work and others the game refused to work. This is, from what I can gather, a Wayland only issue.
I recently switched to i3wm so I'm no longer using Wayland, instead X11, and none of the mouse issues are present on that so there is no need to run gamescope on any of my games.
Installs without issue, Does not launch.
The failure to launch is related to the switch from EAC to MRAC, currently Mail.ru hasn't released any info on a Proton/Wine compatable binary for their anti-cheat. Until that is released, this game is DOA on Proton.
