Synchronisation between what you can see and where the actual collision detection is fails frequently. So pretty broken. But if you don't mind clipping through the map from time to time in order to get past the 'invisible walls', then it's quite fun.
SteamVR (Beta), Valve Index, Xbox Controller
Works fine. Control bindings are a bit weird and difficult to change
Works okay with VR controllers and Xbox controller, but did not detect HOTAS.

VR Works but only with lowest graphics settings
Edges in space stations (i.e. most GPU intensive area) shimmer and are not clear. Text is blurry and hard to read without physically moving your VR head right up to the console panels
It 'works' on other graphics settings, but shimmers and is really hard on the eyes. I HAD to turn it all down to VR Low to be playable
- Valve Index (no controllers)
- x52pro HOTAS
- seated
Occasionally crashes in street view transitions, but otherwise works

Valve Index: Hands spawn backwards and 'menu' starts behind and part way through the floor
As in the title. The game menu, such that it is, always starts behind you and some distance away. It is possible to walk over and reach through the floor to start the game, but it generally crashes after that.
Also in-game hands being on the opposite real-life hands looks really weird (thumbs up, palms outward)
- Valve Index headset and controllers
- Seated and room-scale
- Proton experimental
VR with Valve Index and controllers
Start parameters: tried with
- "ask when game starts"
- "play in VR (exc. Steam Home)
- "Start in Steam VR"
Game attempts to start and opens on desktop, while in VR it just shows 'waiting...' Then freezes up and crashes.
- Valve Index and Controllers
- Seated/standing/room-scale
- Proton experimental
- Starting inside VR both with and without Steam Home
- Not tried starting from outside VR
Mostly works. Two of the labs are unplayable, but that's not unique to Linux
Very rare... I think only one time
Robot Lab and Secret Shop crash everytime, but I believe that also happens on Windows

SteamVR with Valve Index Game started on the monitor and froze, crashed the headset and then forced manually killing SteamVR
What did you want for free :op
Game functions perfectly. Subtitles don't, but it's hardly a deal-breaker
