Game will not lauch, changing various settings and Proton versions
prime-run PROTON_LOG=1 gamemoderun %command%
I tried multiple versions of proton, all the various suggested launch options, even switching between the iGPU and dGPU in my laptop and using prime-run. One possible issue might be using the Zen kernel, I'll try once I configure grub to let me switch kernels. Proton logged no issues, so I don't know what's happening
I think so, though the wierd mouse movement makes it confusing sometimes
moving the mouse around would have this wierd snappy movement, it felt as if the game would only let me turn in 30 degree increments if I moved the mouse too quick. If I moved the mouse slowly, the camera would follow but if I flicked it too fast, the view port would stay in the same place for like a second before snapping to my mouse. It felt as if I was lagging because the general frame would not change however I don't think I was because the waves still seemed to be moving correctly and the frame counter never dropped belowe 50
5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Switching to 5.21 Glorious Eggroll fixed the input stutter issue I was having
There seem to be major performance issues, but both cpu and GPU appear to only have 20% to 25% utilitzation.
Proton-6.12-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.12-GE-1
The game seemed to run absolutly horibbly, both on normal proton and on the Glorious eggroll version I used. I'm not sure if the performance however is due to proton or because the game was never really optimized to begin with
Downloaded it and Proton 5.13 - 2, worked right out of the box and was able to log straigt back onto a knight I used in windows
