Entirety of the base game tested. Only thing that didn't work was my PlayStation 3 controller.
Had to switch from Proton 6.3-8 to Experimental, which got sound working
Cleared all achievements in two runs, and played with both languages all in windowed mode. No issues whatsoever.
Launcher loads up and fails to connect to server, with a cute "Oh nose!" error message. Restarting Steam had no effect
Game does not render on Open Source Mesa right now, as the game needs OpenGL 4.5 compatability mode. May work in the future
Game runs smoother than it did in the previous major update, even in menus. It does require turning off terrain tessellation via editing TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML in a text editor to prevent a crash when loading into a save on AMD. To do this, find the "TerrainTessellation" property, remove the trailing slash, add another Property tag below it with name="GraphicDetail" and value="Low". Then close both property tags and save the file. No other tweaks were necessary for me. Oh, and as of the time of this writing, keyboard controls can't be remapped, but that's a bug in the game, not a Proton issue.
Even with switching from DirectX11 to the Vulkan renderer, framerate is noticably below 60fps, but still playable. Better GPU may handle the extra load just fine.
Did a 100% playthrough of the base game, and had no problems with it once Esync was disabled. Game wouldn't start up without it.
Had to disable Esync to get the game to launch. Once done, played through the whole game twice, both on Normal difficulty. Controller support also tested and working (Genuine PS3 controller)
Fails to find unicode named files
Game is a Ren'py game with sources, and has files with unicode filenames that cause a file not found error on initial startup on my system. Came with Linux natives that have the same issue
Discovered that my system didn't have a UTF-8 locale. Enabling that fixed the "file not found" errors
Despite being listed as "Windows only," game comes with a fully functional set of Linux natives, which also work once UTF-8 support is enabled
Game black screens shortly after starting
Game locks up 10-20 mins in, after the prologue. I suspect it's trying to play a video, which fails
