Only problems i encountered are minor shuttering at mission 19 and 20, and the video format at the beginning and at the end of Vergil's gameplay is not proton compatible so you have to play those parts on windows.
Installed and gamed a lot with no issues. Running on Proton 5.13-6
ProtonGE (6.8 and later releases) fix cutscenes BUT give a green screen, making the game unplayable.
You can play great on max settings with 5.13 but once you hit a prerendered cutscene it crashes. ProtonGE 6.8 and later fix the issue but give a green screen in game with only map, menu and 2d artifacts visible. I have deleted prefixes and reinstalled the game in order to make it launch under ProtonGE. Now I am unfortunately stuck.

I run the game on Wayland with mesa-git drivers (RADV). I also run the linux-arch (vanilla) kernel. The zen kernel is problematic. It causes the gpu to drop usage to 86ish% and the consicuence is for fps drops every few seconds. You still have to use in arguments WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=b" because of the now casual problem of wrong VRAM detection. After the update finally the game offers a butter-smooth experience. CPU issues seem to have gone for the most part. With my system expect to run High preset at 1440p without FSR. FPS don't drop below 50.

Check my last report and pay attention here. WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=b" causes bad framerates, i mean all over the place. USE WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64=b" instead. For me made the experience back to smooth. I hope I helped.
