Given the recent reports I wasn't expecting too much, but with default settings I could play a race with good performance and no issues.

In my opinion the game runs as intended.

With Gnome/Wayland I have to alt-tab once back to the application to get smooth framerate.
The first time I've tried to run the game after installation I had to retry a couple of times and then I switched to the latest Proton version. Now it always starts correctly.
