Demon Turf
Requires an older version of Proton and the addition of a few lines in three configuration files; once this is done, it works like a charm
Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 7.0-6, Changed configuration
The game starts and plays correctly with Proton version 7.0-6. However, it may suffer from frequent and heavy stuttering. My solution was to ensure that the following three files:
SteamDirectory/Demon Turf/Demon Turf_Data/boot.config
SteamDirectory/Demon Turf/Demon Turf_Data/Demon Turf/Demon Turf_Data/boot.config
SteamDirectory/Demon Turf/Demon Turf_Data/Demon Turf Tower/Demon Turf TOWER_Data/boot.config
include these lines with the following values:
gfx-enable-gfx-jobs=1
gfx-enable-native-gfx-jobs=1
gc-max-time-slice=1
As of today (2023/05/01), if using newer versions of Proton or Proton Experimental, it freezes before the main menu.
