I've tried making this game work with many Eggroll versions of proton, experimental proton and the regular latest version enabled via steam.
Copying shader dll's to working game directory did nothing for me. I have 3 hours of playtime but I did not play the game.....
Fixed with - PROTON_LOG=1 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 ( steam launch option )
Full screen makes the game to crash
The game always crash at the start of a mission in the game, after I climb up the stairs in the cave and enter another room. For AMD cards, use - RADV_DEBUG=llvm ( this helped me launching the game without crashing ) - put it in steam game launch option
Crashing always on same place, no matter what proton version I use. Errors from proton-log are always the same and are putting warning on d3d12.
I've been using d3d12.dll from vkd3d proton build that I've copied into my main game directory, together with dxcompiler OR d3dcompiler that are placed in main game directory ( ShaderCompiler folder ).

Full screen will crash the game ( Borderless is fine )
Game always crashes on the same spot in the game. It's the early stage in the game.
"Unable to find server" error
Tested Proton version - ( 5.13 - 2 ), ( 5.0 - 10 ), ( 4.11 - 13 )
As I stated before, the game runs great until 30 min of playtime mark or more. Then the game starts to "tear" with lower fps.
Performance problem start after >30min of playtime. The screen starts to "tear" and fps drops. Until that moment, the game works fine.
I tried changing proton version but the problem persists. Will try with different options tomorrow and see what can I do more to mitigate or remove the tearing problem.
As stated before, stutters happen rarely and were not problem for me. I enjoyed playing the game.
Stutters happen sometimes. Maybe it's less/more depending on the system. Needs more testing to be sure.
Cannot play game with Vulkan (getting black screen when entering the game). Current review is made on dx11.
Online multiplayer is working great in my case. No disconects, lags or other kinds of problems that may occur in this type of environment.
I would recommend using the latest Eggroll release of proton for game in current state. Tried running the game with proton-experimental which gave me the worst performance and prior Eggroll releases that were better than proton-experimental but not better than GE-Proton7-49 (That I am using right now).
