Eldevin is the only MMO on my steam library that doesnt require any Tinkering, and just works after its been Downloaded.
The text in the chat window is very small even with Fullscreen
Seemless MMO servers. Did not have any issue at all playing.
Final note; Eldevin is a great MMO that works out of the box on Steam.
A side note; the chatbox in fullscreen is hard to read.
Seemless online services, good latency and no lag. (In Europe)
A very good Native Linux MMO. Should work "oob" even without having Java installed.
Fun game in early access, you can hop in for 5-minute rounds if you just want a quick game.
People can shoot trough different walls, which makes it impossible to have a strategic plan.
If you dont got a friend to play with, you can always create a Lobby - Its always someone playing!
Overall a great game, need bugfixes but its fun as it is right now.
Works out of the box with this setting.
The latency playing online can be abit high sometimes. in Europe.
The Proton fix I used was "Steam Linux Runtime", and it worked "oob".
I didn't use any launch options
None of the ProtonFixes is working "out of the box"
Trying to narrow the launch errors, i tried all ProtonFixes only to receive "NtProtectVirtualMemory" on all of them. Unplayable
Been trying every Proton fix available on steam
Even if i've tried all the proton fixes, none of them worked. However the game work flawless if you download it from their website.
Just click play without any usage of Proton
The performance being native is very nice being a Early Access game.
Tried playing games natively without proton [Proton 8.0-2], crashes
Heavy stuttering on joining a Multiplayer Dedicated server, to the point its unplayable.
Overall, great game. Little to no bugs on singleplayer.
Despite having awful experience on Dedicated Multiplayer Servers, the singeplayer game is really well made.
Should be able to launch and play if you are using [Proton 8.0-2]
Joining a Dedicated Multiplayer Server could make your game stutter heavily.
Stable singleplayer. Unstable Dedicated Multiplayer. Will update in future if changes are made!
If this is your first time playing RPG MO, i would use steam. It's really smooth gameplay.
Should work "oob"
You might experience flickering on the screen. To solve this open the game to full window and let it load for a few seconds. 5-15 seconds.
Had between 30-50 latency, which is suprisingly Good.
Given the settings I made I'd call this a very stable game to play using Steam. Good experience with little effort.
Using [Proton 4.11-13] you can launch the game without crashes.
You can receive flickering on screen, to fix that open fullscreen and let it load, 5-15 seconds.
Good experience, low latency.
Overall good Quality on the game, little to no bugs.
using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% made me able to launch the game
launch options: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
When I launched the game I had an average of 18-24 FPS, unplayable
Singleplayer works out of the box. Haven't tried Multiplayer, as it's unstable.
I had to close down the game two times, first one being the language selection - The second time because of endless "Loading"-loop.
Using the proton [5.0-10] will allow you to launch the game.
There is abit of delay after you've launched the game. I had to restart the game two times, first one being the Language selection, second time is "endless"-loading
Despite having less powerful PC, this game is polished and works "oob". I did not try Multiplayer, because its unstable.
Using Proton Experimental makes you enabled to load the game.
Using HDD and not SSD will make the game slow loading.
The overall gameplay is surprisingly good, and with a few tweaks in-game you will be running the game in 60 FPS and being very responsive.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Proton Experimental will make the game enabled to launch.
Sometimes the game is lagging till it has done its "in-game buffering".
All in all, the game will hopefully run and with in-game tweaking you will have 60 FPS and smooth gameplay!
Jag får bara upp till 30 FPS med Låg Grafik
Fungerar fint! Klicka-Och-Spela direkt från Steam utan Proton!
Smooth game, boots without any issues and is very easily enjoyable.
Works flawless natively on Linux. Tested on: BuildVersion-ID: 11255727.
Tried all of the Protons available through steam, none of them worked "oob".
Crashes with a Javascript error
For most of the Protons I got the game to launch, but it shut down automatically.
