Some tutorial popups can be a little hard to read in handheld mode. Move previews can also be hard to see without maximizing
The game crashed once every 1.5-2 hours. Thankfully autosaving is pretty aggressive so I never lost more than a minutes of progress.
I didn't play the game too much handheld. It was mostly hooked up to an external display. It ran great (and was super fun to play) aside from the periodic game crashes.
The game also requires you (or at least it did for me) to launch the game while online every 24 hours. So if you're at a camp without internet for a week enjoy it while it lasts. You only get roughly 24 hours after authenticating online before it requires you to launch the game while online agian.
I launched the game and had zero issues playing through the whole thing. I did have it hooked up to an external display, so I can't comment too much on playing it portably (although I didn't see any issues that would make it difficult to play while on the go).
