Seems to be broken right now. Same bugs happen when using the windows version with Proton. Hope it's fixed soon, was excited for this game.
Keyboard inputs stop working after ~10 minutes of play.
Because keyboard inputs are no longer accepted (including ESC), it becomes impossible to save when the game soft-crashes and stops certain cards from working.
The game doesn't outright crash to desktop, but it enters a "freeze" state where you can perform certain actions but not others. Cards will be stuck in the middle of the window and you won't be able to interact with them.
I think the update fixed a few things. Runs perfectly now, barring my own stupidity.
Might be specific to me, alt key sticks after hitting alt+enter to fullscreen, and makes it seem like keyboard inputs aren't working. Tapping right alt fixes the problem. (Turns out I'm just an idiot.)
Great game, too.
Definitely doesn't work out of the box with either standard Proton or GE.

Launcher pops up, runs an update, disappears and then nothing. Steam thinks the game is still running, but no window appears. Haven't tinkered with it much but will update if I figure something out.
Anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work at all, jaggies everywhere and clouds are all fuzzy. Smoke trails also don't look right.
Runs at less than 10FPS in any situation where something is being rendered (even in the VAB or the KSC overview screen), except the map view in orbit where I got up to about 50. Graphics settings have no visible impact whatsoever on performance, setting it to low (or even lowering the resolution from 1440p to 1080p) just makes the game look worse with no benefit to framerate. Might be something CPU bound, or it's eating up all of my VRAM even on minimum settings (maybe poor texture optimization?). Each part I add to a ship shaves another 1-2 FPS off of the average.
Game crashes on trying to watch any of the "new player" videos. When starting a new game, make sure that setting is turned off. Also randomly crashes every so often. I was eventually able to launch a ship with three parts (pod, tank and engine) into a stable orbit and then crash it back down. For almost the entire flight I was averaging less than 5 FPS.

Bizarrely, using Feral Gamemode causes some issues with CPU utilization and tanks FPS, down to less than a third of what it should be (~50 in the main menu). Removing it from launch options allowed the game to run at a perfect 120. This is some kind of weird interaction between Gamemode and this game specifically (as it works perfectly in Gaiden, and pretty much every other game at least as far as I've noticed). Browsing Gamemode's github issues, it might potentially be something to do with the fact that I'm using an X3D CPU, but it's definitely strange that it only appears to affect this game.
