Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x887 a0005 Call: GR_D3D_Device-> CreatureTexture2D at time 453 in file /TexturesM.cpp
It means issue with GPU setup.
Adding PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% works for me.

In addition to my previous report: It is possible to use the legacy client by adding the environment variable "UseLegacyClient = true" under the paragraph [Launcher] into the UserPreference.Ini. Press the launcher menue button, then take the screenshot-folder. There you will find the UserPreference.Ini.
