You can run in windowed mode 1066x666 with FSR ON and it looks great and saves a little bit of wattage.
Game runs and looks great, but required me to revert to an older version of Proton due to locking up on startup with both the current version and the experimental branch.
Here is how I was able to get the best image quality locked at 30fps:
Deck: 60hz, Framerate limit set to 30
Game: VSYNC off, Chromatic Aberration off, Overall High Settings, Shadows set to medium and Foliage Quality set to low. Rendering resolution set to 50%.
To make the 50% rendering resolution look good, we will enable TSR in the unreal engine by manually editing the engine.ini file located here:
/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1583230/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Oregon/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/engine.ini
- And add the following lines at the bottom of the file to activate TSR:
[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=2
r.PostProcessAAQuality=4
r.TemporalAA.Upsampling=1
r.TemporalAA.Algorithm=1
r.ScreenPercentage=50
I am running at 1024x640 windowed mode with FSR ON and it looks great and saves some battery power as well.
Game runs great and looks good! Pretty good FPS (>30) at max settings at 1280x800. I am currently running at 1024x640 with FSR ON and with max settings I get a rock solid 60 FPS and at those settings you can also save a decent amount of batter power.
