I will save others the pain I experienced trying to make this game work. I had an issue with the login window appearing and then crashing a moment later. It was not a proton issue though that's the natural assuption. It was a MWO issue that also affects windows. You'll need to add an evironmental system variable. The game now works great for me. I hope this saves some folks time and makes this game available to more people.
