When I was the one recording it would disconnect to the main menu but only when going back to the surface.
This couldve been due to:
my internet, when it happened it returned to the main menu not quit the game, and a friend on windows also crashed. and also steam chat would say "disconnected".
the recording crashed when attempting to upload, not sure of this because i do not know if it's constantly uploading in client side or the upload only happens when going back to the surface. since the game is new im not aware of the technical details
Proximity voice chat works.
I played on gnome 46 x11, didn't try wayland yet. steam flatpak version, but it works on runtime version works as well.
All in all it runs well, I don't want to bother installing proton 8 or experimental just to see if it works but i doubt itd have problems on those. the game is small and currently free so just try it.
Hope this helps! (also, first!)
Works out of the box.
Connected to a public world and played for 5 hours with no issue.
Didn't tweak anything and it ran very smoothly without any stutters or graphical artificats, around 30-40fps using medium settings on my Vega 6 IGPU with 2GB vram.
Works out of the box
Runs flawlessly, even better than it did for me on Windows 10.
Played a couple quick cash games, won both. No lag or stutters on integrated graphics!
My Graphic Settings:
- Resolution 720p
- All Low
- FSR 2: Ultra Performance
FPS Avg: 40 (pretty decent for an APU, playable)
Note: Must install Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime just search in library and install it. Also, this is on Xorg, haven't tested Wayland yet. Steam defaults to Proton Experimental which works, didn't try others.
Minimal fresh Arch install with Gnome 45 and graphic drivers (xf86-video-amdgpu mesa libva-mesa-driver vulkan-radeon) and Steam Runtime version not native (pacman -S steam)
Works out of the box with no issues
Played singleplayer and multiplayer with randoms, very stable and fun gameloop. runs nice on AMD Ryzen 3 integrated graphics
