-win
Used the -win option to prevent problems with Alt+Tab as others have mentioned
The first time I tried running the game, it froze my system. But then I tried running it a second time, and it seemed to work.
Started but nothing happened
I added the --skip-intro as the other options suggested. I went to run it from the command line (Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files) to see the error and found these errors printed:
ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/adam/.steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored. ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/adam/.steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored. /home/adam/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Wargroove/linux_bin/wargroove: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
But the libsteam_api.so file is present in my linux_bin folder.
I can't remember whether I used the OpenGL option (which people have suggested I should use), but after re-installing it, the choice of whether to use OpenGL didn't come back. I'm not sure how to reset it to make sure I'm choosing OpenGL.
