When trying to load into a new run it gives me a very basic UE4 error with no info and creashes
I've tried on the current proton experiments, proton 6.32-GE-1 and on proton 6.3-7 with no change in experience
Using proton 5.13-6 and being patient with the first crashes the game will fix itself mostly and can still have a very fun experience
I think it was caused by the lag spikes while the GL cache was still building but some lag spikes I would flip 180 and not be facing the right way
Many lag spikes and crashes at the start, can be fixed over time (4-5 tried of the tutorial) using these launch options -> __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_PATH=""
Crashing at the start while GL cache is being build and during the starting cutscenes
When you finish a match making game it can end in a white screen that doesnt change
it is still able to connect to game servers on the main menu after clicking "try again" once and the early access patch notes appear with some missing characters.
Good fun and performs well. I would recommend turning down the specific settings for the hub however
Cut scenes do not work but can be skipped so it doesn't affect game play
Great but I personally recommend enabling a few launch options: https://is.gd/KP_LO
The game itself ran PERFECTLY, no performance issues, no stutters, no crashes or freezes, not a single issue at all.
I am marking "Bounds were incorrect" just from one VERY minor issue.
if you have two different resolution monitors (say a 4K main and 1440P secondary like me), you alt tab out of the game in borderless mode and alt tab back in while your mouse is on the smaller resolution screen then your mouse will only be able to move around in a box the size of the smaller screen.
I have not confimed if this issue applies to windows or other desktops (Mine is the latest KDE Plasma at time of writing)
Play this game, your'e fully corked if you don't
There is a small issue where two cores of my CPU where stuck at 100% while playing but it didn't cause any slowdown
There is a mission several hours into the game where you need to follow shinji to the top of a building. There are loading zones between the floors of this building, the final loading zone that lead to the roof caused my game to get stuck on an infinite loading screen (stuck at 64FPS for some reason?).
I verified my files, changed proton versions, all the usual trouble shooting steps but every time I tried it would lock up, to get around this issue I had to copy my saves to a GOG copy of the game through the heroic launcher, progress, save, copy back. very strange issue.
I experinced a semi-game breaking bug that others have reported at different points in the story but this is not an issue with proton and I belive this game to be working as "intended" on a windows machine
