I had to wait quite a long time (1~2 minutes) for the game to launch, but it ran smoothly after that.
Tested successfully with Proton 7 and 8.
Works perfectly fine.
I just needed to disable v-sync since it was making my PC having a slight FPS drop each second, making the game playable but not very enjoyable. With v-sync off, it's smooth.
I use DX11, since the game makes my computer crash while loading missions with DX12.
Crashes all the time
Some textures are appearing at the last moment sometimes. Nothing serious.
Playing with a DualSense with gyro might be tricky
Very frequent crashes, too many to be playable
I tried with Proton 8 and experimental, with and without recommended commands like DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr,dxr11 gamemoderun %command% -dx12
, but starting from the "hunting" tutorial, it constantly crashes during cinematics or in-game.
Game not launching
I tried a couple of classic commands, to force the experimental proton, etc, but the game remains stuck on "launching".
Play the game with OpenGL, and everything runs smoothly.
The game crashes regularly during "cinematics" (kind of) when I select the regular option on the splash screen, but it never crashed anymore if I select the OpenGL option.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I had to install the 32bit version of nvidia drivers (sudo apt install libnvidia-gl-515:i386
on Ubuntu for the 515 driver version) to run the game, otherwise I had a "DX11 could not switch resolution" failure.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Without the PROTON_USE_WINED3D option, I had vulkan/DX11 problems and the game didn't launch.
