Works great on the newer version of Nvidia drivers on Linux Mint (I use the more up to date option) using GE-Proton9-1

If the game is loaded, as in you are in control of your character, the game will rapidly minimize when you try to go back into the game. You can, if you time it, input the presses required to save and quit, which brings up the title screen and reenables tabbing in
Should be able to get it running no prob with proton, if not try the latest GE-Proton and maybe Nvidia graphics
