Playing at 1440p full screen and the game runs absolutely flawlessly with no tweaking required from what I have played so far. It is locked to a 4:3 ratio and 30fps in the world and 15fps in battle like the original version with few options to tweak.

The new "Beyond" update switches the rendering engine to use Vulkan. Performance is about half of what it used to be now. Flying around on a planet can see the frame rate drop to 15fps. There are also graphical artifacts that appear at times like dark lines across the screen or a weird jagged glow around objects when viewed in front of the sky.
