Since it was literally just install and play with no fuss I have to imagine an average linux user will be pleased.
Randomly textures on screen will disappear, like a dock under your feet. While this does not effect the actual gameplay it can throw you off quite a bit and seems to depend on camera angles. I found it disorienting at best.
As reported by all users on all platforms the performance can vary wildly, so turning down settings helps make it tolerable but for a smooth experience you may want to wait for inevitable performance patches.
In my 25 hours of gameplay I have encountered two seemingly unrelated crashes. In both cases the game had been running for over 3 hours so it could be memory leaks, but the error message was different between them so not sure.
Networking functionality is a no-go. I am not sure if this is due to the EAC, but I tried both the 5.0.9 and GloriousEggroll's latest and neither seems to allow networking. I just get the standard message "Online functionality not yet supported." with no details but it won't let me select. I am also unable to edit my character name, the text box remains empty while indicating 6 characters, and there is no option to set an online name.
I assume EAC is what is blocking networking, but there is no part of the game that is inaccessible so far as I have seen for solo gameplay.
