Performance was severely impacted by some unknown factor. It could potentially be that it runs poorly due to the fact that it's an Unreal Engine game, as I've not had any of them play nice with proton. I got about 15-18 fps on the lowest settings, while I got around 100 fps on high settings while on Windows.
Only able to get to the launcher. Game also has Kernel Level Anti-Cheat.
The game ran smoothly and overall fine until the Restricted Zone. It's a bit of a buggy game but that's not proton's fault.
I've ran into one significant bug so far, which is that about 15 hours into playing the game when I was supposed to enter a new area of the map called the "Restricted Zone" I crashed to desktop. It'd be all find and dandy if it was just one crash, but it's something within that zone itself that crashes me and since the game autosaved me in the zone, every time I try and play the story I instantly crash to desktop.
