Pretty fun game, runs mostly like native
Sometimes online play button bugs out (infinite loading). Fix: Switch servers, then switch back to your desired server.
No proton versions launched the game (latest tried was 5.0-7).
No proton versions launched the game (latest tried was 5.0-7). No error windows, only steam library entry went from "running" to "play." Running some old versions of proton makes a driver error appear, but this does not occur in newer versions. Using non-proton wine launches the game and it runs, but the main feature of the game, online play, throws a generic steam/internet connection error.
Controller support doen't work, but keybord is good enough assuming you're willing to map small # of keybindings
Limit to 30fps, you're not going to notice it 90% of the time.
Only really worked with keybord and mouse layout despite the menus and store listing reflecting otherwise. touchpads come in handy in this scenario.
Runs very well with OpenGL (w/ Steam Controller in BPM) on Proton Experimental
At least in Big Picture Mode, You may need to try to launch (via OpenGL) the game again to focus on it instead of BPM.
No sound at all. Impossible to use fixes on steam deck due to flatpak-only (no command line) environment
Dektop linux fixes are probably usable, but not so if you're running on Steam Deck due to the lack of a usable normal package manager.
capped it to 15fps
sometimes diffucult to see what is selected/highlighted with the controller in menus (ie, save slots)
Crashes on startup.
After you are prompted to and finish installing Adobe AIR, the game will appear momentarily and then crash. Tried various proton versions and installing AIR via protontricks, nothing worked. Refunded.
Runs perfectly on proton experimental (including controller).
Used a Steam Controller (would recommend playing w/controller) through Steam Big Picture. You'll need to set the game to fullscreen in the settings, as it is windowed by default. Also helpful if you change the keyboard binding to controller in the game's settings, and use the steam overlay to remap the joystick to a dpad. Not linux issues tho, just game playability tips.
The game has bad controls, but that aside, the game (demo) functions as intended.
Menu items can be highlighted with the mouse but can't be clicked, press enter to select a highlighted item. Intro cut scene has no video, only audio, and must be bypassed by holding space at the end to start playing.
