Works great out of the box on steam deck. Full controller support and no issues encountered at all.
The game plays just fine on Linux, but ultimately I can't recommend it on the Steam Deck because of the small display size.
UI does not scale independently from the display resolution. The text is very tiny on the Steam Deck.
Game starts up at 480x600 resolution and only uses part of the display. The display resolution must be manually changed in the game settings once you start a park.
The game saves OK but it doesn't put Dave files in the default place the game looks for them when you load a save file. The game includes a file browser when saving/loading though so it's not really an issue.
Overall I can't recommend this game on the Steam Deck. It appears to run great and the mouse controls using the touchpad are passable, but the lack of UI scaling combined with the tiny display of the Deck make it basically impossible to enjoy. Would be much better when docked/external monitor.
Game doesn't start in the correct resolution on Steam Deck, but it's an easy fix. Go to the options in the main menu and select full screen mode. Runs beautifully out-of-the-box otherwise.
Some small text on the cards, not impossible to read but those with poor vision may struggle on the Steam deck's small screen. Most of the text is good.
