Could only install the game once I forced the "Steam Play Compatibility Tool" to run with Proton Experimental. Otherwise it runs perfectly.
If you don't mind playing on low settings and the occasional crash, then the game itself is pretty enjoyable.
Game is very demanding. Minimum and recommended settings as misleading, this game requires much better hardware to even achieve 60 fps.
Game is prone to crashing for reasons that I have yet figure out. This also happens frequently on Windows too.
Heavy artifacting unless you use ProtonGE.

Had no issues running the game. No frame drops, no freezes, no crashes.
Great experience out of the box
I sometimes got kicked from official servers out of the blue (had to reconnect) but this is most likely an issue with the game itself not with any system or configuration.
No tinkering needed to have a good time with this one.
must install vosk-api for voice recognition to work
Voice recognition needs the vosk-api to be installed through the package manager
GE-Proton9-7 has better performance than Steam's Proton Experimental. But both of them would run the game just fine.

Starting the game in fullscreen mode will always freeze my display. The computer itself continues to work in the background (e.g Discord calls, background processes, etc...), but the screen remains frozen no matter what I do. The only way out is to restart the computer. I also had the same exact issue on Ubuntu.
Despite me having saved the game after clearing the first phase of the game, it did not allow me to "Continue" after having quit the game. Had to play through everything again.
Cutscenes (Video format. NOT in-game) will not work unless you play with GE-Proton9-7. Upon starting the game, a file explorer window will pop-up. You must navigate to Binaries\Win64 and execute the file "TBR-Win64-Shipping.exe" to start the game. Starting the "TBR.exe" resulted in the game crashing as soon as it boots for me.
