You need to press Esc when you start a new game and see a blank screen instead of loading UI.
The game can be played on Linux without any hacks, except only the new game video issue. Performance is not very good considering my hardware, but it's rather because of lack of optimization.

The game is working pretty well without issues so far, although I'd say that performance was sub-optimal while playing on RX580 @ 4K.
Customizations:
- Run Ostriv configurator and disable fullscreen mode
- Run Wine configurator from console (given command is for default Steam intallation & Proton 5.0, change your paths if your differs)
