The game doesn't run, neither do the other BioShock Games.

I'm unsure if this is to do with the 2k launcher as I haven't attempted to run the games on this system prior to the QoL update. I've tried a variety of launch options and proton versions. The game shows a banner displaying the title then doesn't launch.
It's a real shame, I've been itching to play any of the games for a while now and have not found a solution. I've been told it may have something to do with my graphics drivers, which sounds possible since circumventing the launcher does not work, but I haven't found a fix.

Sometimes tabbing out to my second screen would cause the game to freeze instead of minimising the window as normal, when this happened I had no choice but to force quit and restart. Always quicksave before tabbing out.
I had a lot of headache with the Bioshock series before discovering that a missing driver was the issue (I have no idea how I managed to go months on this machine without realising I was missing said driver but that is the case). The driver was lib32-vulkan-radeon.
One of the best boomer-shooters, period. I have never played the DOS version or any source port so there may be some very minor performance differences I'm just not picking up on, or gameplay changes but that comes down to the remaster, not Proton. I loved it.
The game was running perfectly (aside from online) for 50 hours but the new colosseum update seems to have broken something.

After the new update I can reach the main menu and try to load into a game, go into the settings fine etc. but when I attempt to actually start up the game, depending on my launch options it either closes out immediately or freezes about halfway through loading. I haven't finished my first playthrough and am very sad.
